Where the data comes from and how it updates Public monthly statistics compiled by Smogon from Pokémon Showdown ladder battles, covering the top 150 Pokémon in each format. For each Pokémon you can see the usage share of its moves, items, abilities, Tera types, EV spreads and teammates. The data refreshes automatically on the 15th of each month and follows regulation changes on its own.
FAQ What is the percentage a percentage of? The ranking figure is a share of the whole format; the percentages for moves, items and so on are shares within that Pokémon. A move listed at 80% means 80% of the players who used that Pokémon ran that move.
How recent is the data? The month and the number of battles behind each format are shown in its heading. Smogon publishes in monthly batches, so the site always shows the most recent completed month.
