How saving and sharing work
Saving a team of six issues a short share URL that only people you send it to can open. Shared pages are kept out of search engines (excluded by both robots.txt and a noindex tag). Creating an account lets you manage your teams in one list, but saving and sharing work without one. Import and export in Pokémon Showdown text format is also supported.

Do I need an account?
No. You can save and get a share URL without logging in. An account simply lets you manage your saved teams in one list and open them from another device.
Will my shared team show up in search results?
No. Shared pages are disallowed in robots.txt and also carry a noindex tag, so nobody can reach them from search without the URL.
Can I paste in a team from Pokémon Showdown?
Yes. Paste the Showdown text format to load all six at once, and export in the same format. A loaded team can be sent straight to the damage calculator or the type-coverage analyser.
