The terms for using PokéKit. By using this site you agree to these terms.
1. Unofficial site and ownership of rights
PokéKit is an unofficial fan site run by an individual. Copyright and trademarks in Pokémon and in all related names, characters, images and data belong to Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. (The Pokémon Company). This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those companies. The original text, calculation logic and screen design created for this site remain the property of its operator.
2. Data sources
This site uses @pkmn / @smogon as its battle engine, PokeAPI for multilingual names and descriptions, and Smogon / Pokémon Showdown ladder statistics for usage rates. All of these are unofficial, community-run projects. We follow each provider's terms, credit our sources, and fetch data only at build time and in a monthly batch — never from a visitor's request — so that the load on the upstream services stays minimal.

This site is operated by an individual. For questions about these terms, the content or the data, and for removal requests, please use the contact form. We do not accept enquiries by direct e-mail.

Every feature of this site is free to use. Creating an account is optional and all tools work without one. Any data-transfer charges incurred are the user's responsibility.
5. Prohibited conduct
You may not: (1) access the site through automated means at high volume, scrape it, or otherwise interfere with its operation; (2) copy, redistribute or commercially exploit its content without permission, except for the material we explicitly publish as open data; (3) reverse-engineer the site, attempt unauthorised access, or exploit vulnerabilities; (4) act unlawfully or against public order and morals; or (5) submit false information or abusive content through the contact form. Usage statistics are published as CSV and JSON on the open data page and may be reused freely with attribution.

The competitive data shown here (base stats, moves, type matchups, usage rates and so on) changes with game updates and season rollovers. What you see reflects the moment the data was fetched; we do not guarantee that it is always current or accurate. Calculation results are estimates and guarantee no particular outcome in battle. The operator is not liable for any damage arising from use of this site, nor for the content of external sites linked from it.
7. Advertising
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to serve ads, including ads based on your interests. See the privacy policy for details and for how to opt out.

The operator may change the content of this site, add or remove features, and suspend or end the service without prior notice. Saved data and accounts may be lost, so please keep your own copy of anything important.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and the use of this site are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to this site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
